About the event
Quantitative Program using R Studio allows participants to conduct statistical analysis, giving them an advantage in their data analysis research. This program is for undergraduates, graduate students, PhD researchers, and Faculty and Industry delegates working on their master’s and doctoral degrees. It begins with the fundamentals of programming in R and then moves on to statistics.
Workshop Objectives
- Introduction to R: Familiarize students with the R environment, its installation, and basic programming concepts.
- Data Manipulation and Analysis: Tech students how to import, clean and manipulate data using R’s powerful tools and packages.
- Statistical Analysis: Provide hands-on experience in performing statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression modelling in R
- Data Visualization: Demonstrate the creation of informative and visually appealing data visualizations.
Workshop Structure:
The workshop will be conducted in an interactive and hands-on manner, ensuring active student participation The session will include lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises. I will provide detailed workshop materials, including presentations, code samples, and datasets, to facilitate learning and future references.
