About the Institute
The ABACUS family came into being in the year 2008 by the hand of Chinsurah Abacus Educational Society. After two years of successful running the Abacus Institute of Engineering & Management (abbreviated as AIEM) was jointly taken over by the two pillars of modern technical education in eastern India- JIS Group and Techno India Group. The two largest educational conglomerates in Eastern India, operating with more than 50+ Nos. of institutions, including universities, colleges and schools.
The college is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and all the programs are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education
Ever since its inception, the college has been equipping itself to become industry ready with an eminent faculty base, world class infrastructure and exceptional research facilities. The campus is located at Natungram, Magra, Hooghly. Communication and
transport system is considerably good. Currently, Five 8. Tech courses and Four diploma courses are offered in the institution.
