Online Poster Making Competition 2024, announced on 07th April by SD Gupta School of Public Health, IIHMR University to commemorate the World Health Day. This is an exciting opportunity where professionalism meets creativity and advocacy, with lucrative cash rewards for the top three entries. This is your chance to showcase your talent and make a significant contribution to the discourse on public health.
This year’s theme, “My Health, My Right,” calls us to envision a world where quality healthcare isn’t a privilege, but a basic Human Right.
This symbolizes the efforts to champion the right of everyone, everywhere and to internalize the importance and role of various other sectors whereby, having access to quality health services education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination are equally important.
Share your perspective and join the movement for health equity! This could mean Equality, non – discrimination, participation , involvement when looking from the viewpoint of those availing health services. From the service provider’s side, right to health indicates a sense of accountability towards the beneficiaries . This could also mean making services and medicines available to all, accessible to all and providing services which are acceptable to all and providing high quality services.
You are encouraged to visualize your thoughts and unleash your creativity to powerfully convey your perspectives on health as a right.
