“National Chemistry Week” 20-26 October, 2024 Theme: Picture Perfect Chemistry

Online Video-making competition

  • Eligibility: All UG/PG students are eligible to participate. Each participant or team can only submit one entry.
  • Video Content: The video must demonstrate or explain a chemistry phenomenon. The content must be original, created by the participants, and not copied from other sources.
  • Duration: The video must be 2-5 minutes long.
  • Submission: Participants must upload their videos on Google Drive or YouTube and share the link through the Google Form provided. The submission deadline is 24-10-2024.
  • Presentation: The video should begin with an introduction stating the participant’s name(s), the chemistry phenomenon being covered, and the purpose of the video.
  • Judging Criteria: The entries will be judged based on: Scientific accuracy, Creativity and originality, Clarity and engagement, Presentation and technical quality.
  • Team Composition: Participants can compete individually or in teams (max 2 members). In the case of a team entry, all members should contribute equally.
  • Link of Google form to upload video link.

Prizes for video competition

  • First prize: 500/-
  • Second prize: 300/-
  • Third prize: 200/- Decision of judges will be final. No further queries regarding decision will be entertained.

Online Quiz Competition

  • Only students (UG or PG) can participate in this quiz. There is no registration fee.
  • Quiz will consist of 20 Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Each question carries 5 marks and there will be no negative marking.
  • E-certificate will be provided to all the participants scoring 70% or more.
  • E-certificate will reach to you within 2-3 working days on your mail Id’s.
  • Link of quiz will open from 22-10-2024 and remain active till 24-10-2024.
