Bibliometric analysis plays a key role in research reports and documents.
It is a valuable method for identifying the current status of research on a particular topic, helping researchers map trends, collaborations, and influential publications. This approach, widely used in exploring and analyzing large databases like Web of Science and Scopus, enables visualization of academic output through publication and citation data.
By using bibliometric analysis, researchers gain insights into specific parameters of a field, with data visualizations that make relationships more visible and easier to interpret, facilitating new insights, discoveries and recent trend to future scope of research in any discipline.
This workshop will cover techniques using VOSviewer and R Studio (Biblioshiny) for bibliometric analysis, along with Excel-based data manipulation to streamline data preparation and enhance the data representation and interpretation. Additionally, withGIS, participants will learn how to visualize research trends and collaborations across regions, providing a spatial perspective that enriches the analysis of global research patterns. Moreover, this workshop focused on enabling researchers to publish scientific papers.
